The Unesco World Heritage-listed  Old Town of Rhodes is the largest inhabited medieval town in Europe , and its mighty fortifications are the finest surviving example of defensive architecture of the time.

Rhodes is the main port of the Dodecanese and offers a complex array of routes and departures for the rest of the Dodecanese islands,Pireo and for Turkey.

From/To the Airport

Diagoras International Airport is located 13km south-west of Rhodes City near Paradisi village . From/to the airport you can take a taxi which costs about 25 Euro for a drive of about twenty minutes. If you prefer to take the bus it costs about 2.50 Euro per person.

Ask the bus driver for ALEXANDER DIAKOU STREET BUS STOP in front of the bakery TULIPA. Across from the bus stop, slightly to the right, go down the smaller street (it is a left of ALEXANDER DIAKOU street). Thake the first right on 28th October street. Just before the pharmacy on the left, see the sign for Anastasia Hotel. Turn left into the small alley to hotel. To go to the airport by bus, the bus stop is very close to the hotel at main street 28th October.

From/To the Harbours

Mandraki Harbour is situated within a walking distance (700m or 8 minutes walking) from Anastasia Hotel. Kolona Harbour is 1.3Km about 16 minutes walking distance from Anastasia Hotel.

Commercial Harbour (ferries from Turkey) is 1.8Km about 22 minutes walking distance from Anastasia Hotel. Commercial Harbour for ferries (ex: Blue Star Ferry) from Santorini, Crete and Athens is 2.5Km about 30 minutes walking distance frrom Anastasia Hotel.Is are However if you wish to hire a Taxi there is a Taxi station at all harbours and the fare to or from our hotel is about 6 to 7 Euro.
